Everyone Reads For the first time, adults are invited to “Catch the Reading Bug” this summer and take part in the summer reading program. Fill out our Everyone Reads entry form when you finish a book or audio book between June 23 and August 8. Turn in your entry form at Salina Free Library or submit it online. You will be entered in one of our weekly prize drawings every time you turn in a form. The entry form includes space to submit a book review. Catch the Reading Bug “Catch the Reading Bug” at Salina Free Library this summer. Children preschool through grade 5 are invited to read their way to fun prizes starting June 23 and running through August 14. Young children can participate by having someone read to them. Buzz on in to the library and register beginning June 23rd or register online and print out a reading record. Check out our list of weekly programs. We’ve lined up a summer’s worth of free events featuring puppets, magic tricks, music, wildlife, crafts, and more.

 | Local Author Mike Langan Book Signing Tuesday, July 22 6:30 p.m. Fayetteville attorney and author Mike Langan reads from and signs copies of his new mystery novel “Dark Horse” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22 at Salina Free Library, 100 Belmont St. in Mattydale. Books will be available for purchase and signing. The program is free and open to the public. No registration required.
