Curbside Pick-Up Step-By-Step
  1. Only items currently showing a status of “Held” on your library card are eligible for this service.

  2. Place items on hold online at or by calling the library at (315) 454-4524. Learn how to place holds online here.

  3. A maximum of 15 items may be picked up curbside during a single appointment.

  4. You must have a library card in good standing (that is, no lost and billed items). Staff cannot take payment for lost items as part of this service.

  5. Call ahead to schedule a time to pick up items. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment is considered automatically cancelled. Failure to arrive for two consecutive appointments will lead to all items on hold being sent on to other patrons.

  6. If someone will be picking up items for you, notify staff when scheduling your appointment.

  7. Due to current demand, only one appointment per week per person is permitted.

  8. Upon arriving at the library, park in the designated Curbside Pick-Up parking spot, which you will be informed of when you set up your appointment.

  9. Note: If a handicapped parking spot is required, notify staff when scheduling your appointment. If you are unable to physically leave your vehicle, notify staff when scheduling your appointment and accommodations will be made.

  10. Call the library at (315) 454-4524 when you arrive. If you do not have a cell phone, wait in your vehicle and staff will see when you arrive.

  11. Wait in your vehicle until the bag of items has been deposited in the designated area and the staff member has returned to the library building.

  12. Place items to return in the book drop and retrieve your bag of items, then return to your vehicle.

  13. Please vacate the Curbside Pick-Up parking spot in a timely manner so as not to delay the next appointment.
